About HRW Builders.....
HRW Builders, LLC pledges to provide honest value, superior quality and skilled craftsmanship to every client. Understanding what this truly means was learned early by Michael Hintz, the company president. He first picked up a hammer in 1964 working for his father, a general contractor. Michael states emphatically, "I learned that the best way to build a project is the right way – open communication among everyone involved in the project, careful planning, using skilled people and listening carefully to the client."
HRW is driven by the realization that for clients, "time is money". Michael explains, "We have a strict policy, that once we undertake a project, we will do everything possible to meet or beat the schedules that are established before a project is underway. One of the ways we do this by putting a strong emphasis on 'value engineering'. This ensures that after the bid process is complete, we seek creative ways, using our vast experience, to save our clients time and money. Using this process ensures we have minimum change orders, and that changes are only undertaken with our client's full agreement.”
Clients can expect a team spirit and high ethical standards from an experienced general contractor that will competitively bid, skillfully construct and professionally supervise a project as though it was their own.
Michael Hintz attributes the success of the company to satisfied clients, many for whom the company has built several quality projects. Furthermore, the diversity of projects reflects the wide-ranging ability of this team and its ability to draw upon the experience of each other to construct most types of new buildings. For Mike, the new millennium began with projects ranging from fast food restaurants, Pilot truck stops with attached national chain restaurants, Checker Auto stores, custom homes, and recognition as one of the first general contractors to construct a commercial building at the prestigious Anthem community. Another challenging project was the demolition and rebuilding of four floors of high-rise Phoenix office building while the tenants were in place. This project involved dedicated electrical circuits and communications upgrades with re-routing of all computer lines through new trays, racking and trapezing while moving walls to create more efficient workflow.
Michael says, "Our philosophy is simple – treat people the way you would want to be treated. Provide the best quality workmanship you possibly can while leaving each and every client with the feeling they received more than they expected."
